CM Mann: Punjab tourism summit to showcase bravery and revolutions

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced the Punjab Tourism Summit, scheduled from September 11 to 13, as a platform to highlight Punjab's untapped aspects, often overlooked by previous state administrations. The summit, hosted at Amity University in Mohali, aims to spotlight Punjab's legacy of courage, sacrifice, revolution, diligence, and hospitality.

Invitation to experience Punjab's richness

Mann cordially invited all to partake in the summit, emphasizing Punjab's diverse heritage, including its revered Gurus, saints, poets, and prophets. He took pride in Punjab's historical role in significant movements like the freedom struggle and the green revolution, as well as its natural beauty that captivates visitors.

The six sessions will cover topics such as Amritsar's tourism potential, heritage tourism, eco and farm/home stay tourism, culinary tourism, wellness tourism, and media/entertainment tourism.

Mann emphasized Punjab's global reputation for warm hospitality and assured elaborate preparations by the state government for the seamless execution of the three-day summit. The event aspires to promote Punjab as a tourist destination rich in culture, history, and natural splendor.
